Apart from playing music at different settings is there a programme to test your speakers?

Test them how? To see if they put out sound? Testing intensity at various frequencies? I'd say if you can hear music out of them, they work. :p You can download a tone generator to output different tones and do frequency sweeps, if that's what you are looking for.

sorry forgot about this thread :p

i mean test them to see at what point they distort...with these current speakers theres distortion when playing music quite loud and i dont think its worth the money so i just wanted to test them to see how loud they can go without distortion

If you can get ahold of an oscilloscope, that would probably be the best thing to see when distortion or clipping starts.
