Ay caramba! Can you believe this monster?

I realize this is a motherboard, but I think it's relevant given the graphics capabilities it brings to the table. They have two of their dual-6800GT cards in there to feed 8 of the 10 displays, and apparently the only thing holding them back from quad SLI is for NVidia to unlock it in the drivers. :eek:

Now, if only the new ASUS dual-7800 cards can work in there...:D
 
The article went up yesterday. I spent 30 minutes searching for another thread on the topic and didn't find one. Sue me.

whoops, I thought that this was just another article about it, not an actual review. that picture's been used before in other articles.

I love how it's all being run by an ultra x-connect. mine struggled with two card sli, let alone four... there must be a little voice coming from it saying "heeeeeelp me immmmm melllllting!" :eek: ;)
 
yes sir - an option often overlooked... the good old pci video card. :)

It all depends on what you think I mean by search. I did one electronic search on the words "quad royal", then I manually browsed the previous week of both the vid card and motherboard forums, including their subforums. I like to be thorough, seeing as how we have so many armchair moderators around here.

Now, would you like to pay by check, cash, or money order?

I believe there was a post on the original at hkepc (sp?) and it had "GIGABYTE" across the monitors, This is the first link ive seen of the anandtech hands on.

they could have used this for The Matrix sets...
