Temps continue to rise

I have 2x gpu, southbridge, northbridge, and CPU cooled with koolance blocks and I'm using the koolance exos-2 as a res/radiator. Problem is, when I started up my PC this morning in my 70F ambient room, the cpu temp was at a nice 25C, but every minute or so it would increase by 1. At about 30C I turned on two instance of orthos to load all four cores, instant delta of 15C bringing it to 45C, but every minute or so it would go up another degree. Eventually it got to 57C, a delta of nearly 30C, so I turned off orthos. I'm now idling at about 43C, 13C above my previous idle.

What is causing the inability to keep the CPU at its initial temp? I'm guessing the radiator just flat out sucks. I have the radiator fans at max speed which koolance claims is 188CFM. Maybe the radiator is heating up the room which is in turn heating up the liquid which is causing the radiator to pump even hotter air out to heat the room up more causing a vicious cycle of heat.
 
That is a lot of stuff to cool with a Koolance product. What are you using to read the CPU temp? What are your GPU (x2) temps?
 
Everest Ultimate. GPUs are at 54/56.. kinda high.. they're typically 49/50, but I just recently installed new drivers and fixed a problem with the SLI in nTune, maybe something happened along the way. One thing that really bothers me, I just opened a different version of Everest which shows the MCP/southbridge temp.. it's at 83C. Maybe this is screwing up the entire loop. After much toying with the MCP block I can't get the temp reduced.. kind of wish I left the bridges alone at this point.
 
All temps in a loop will eventually reach an equilibrium. If one component is creating more heat than another, the water temperature will continue to rise.

So, since your CPU is at say 30, but your GPUs are at 55...the excess heat is going to raise the temperature of the loop. If the loop temperature goes up, the CPU (NB and SB too) cooling efficiency will go down.
 
I see, that makes too much sense. I think I will go with multiple loops next time.
 
Or with a product that can deal with that much heat input...





I won't lie. I've got an original Koolance case (with the old 3 x 80 cm fan) for my webserver. I don't even remember what processor is in the thing, but it is dead silent and runs at 25 (per the temp sensor mounted between the block and the CPU). It sits mostly idle, but I love the Koolance setup...I just wouldn't trust their equipment to handle all my heat generating equipment.
