Temps and reboots...

Well, my eMachine is having some more problems that need some help...

Every once in a while my computer just automatically re-boots, and window's calls in a "Device Driver Error" and says it can't find the specific problem...
I just installed a Built by ATI Radeon 9600 Pro, and updated drivers in all areas...I'm not sure what's wrong, which then brings me to my next question:

Could it be my tempretures?

Since my mobo doesn't have a case temp guage, I have a digital thermometer hooked up to it, and it displays 36.7 degrees celcius out the back of the machine, with a room temp of 23.8 degrees celcius, and my CPU is reading 57 degrees celcius.

2.16 Ghz Athlon XP 2700+
80 GB HDD
2 x 512 MB PC 2700 DDR-RAM
DVD-ROM Drive
DVD+-R/+-RW Drive
Built By ATI Radeon 9600 Pro

Do you think I should add a fan to it?

If there is a spot for a fan, go for it, it couldn't hurt to add some extra cooling here and there.

My best friend has a 120mm spot in the back of his case and he refuses to put in a fan because "its not worth it to him", he really needs a slap for that eh? lol

WHat direction should I face it if I get one?

Blowing out or blowing in? Which would be more effective?

Ideally you want one blowing in the front and one blowing out in the back. Your computer came with no case fans?

is your CPU idling at 57C??!!??!! if so - it's not good - you should either try reseating HSF (and reapplying thermal paste) or get a better HSF...

yea, absolutely no case fans...there is an opening in the back, so I'm going to try and get one for back there, but there arn't any other spots...I'd have to make a spot...maybe in the side of the case...

actually, I think idle is around 49 degrees...I must of been doing something when I got that temp...lol...

EDIT!!!

actually, it likes to hang around 55-60 degrees celcius once it gets warmed up...
