Im having trouble with my system's temperature readings. Someone else suggested that maybe the motherboard sensor is not calibrated correctly. But looking at the GPU temperature on my 6600GT AGP and it is at 70 degrees celcius. THAT IS HIGH.

What's a good way to go about cooling down the system.

Mind you im a college student so no expensive stuff :)

Thanks in advance.

Which drivers are you using? The 71.84's display higher temperatures than what they really are.

Im using the 71.89 drivers.

And how much higher do they report?

Well, I had 70 idle with 71.84, now I'm at 59 or 60 idle with some older forceware.
