On MBM5 and Asus Probe my temps read as 40C on Case and 32C for CPU. My Aerogate II reads 40C CPU and 32C Case. The aerogate probes aren't exact (CPU one slid under hsf near die, and Case one taped to case right next to edge of mobo). This seems too coincidental to me, thoughts?

Yes, definitely too coincidental. I mean, even besides the Aerogate II readings, your case temp can't be above your CPU temp since your case air is cooling your CPU heatsink.

Definitely switched although I don't know why. Have you updated your BIOS? These usually get fixed.

Just flashed newest bios (like month old)... still reversed :/ I guess its fine just annoying

just change the lables/order of the probes... i dont think any mobo gives good readings tho.. i had to customise my mbm config to read south bridge and north bridge temps as well as standard cpu

ya like ryuji said, do a manual switch in mbm. One test you might want to run is do something real cpu intensive for ~10 - 15 minutes and then look at the temps, it should be fairly easy to tell at this point which is which.
