Hey guys Brandon here..

I was just sitting here at my desk pondering something. How much modification would a single display CompuNurse and a 1/2 inch (14MM) Tee need to accurate get temps inside the loop?

It would require some waterproof epoxy or some plumber's GOOP and about ten minutes of your time.

are there big risks in simply putting a hole in your tubing and sealing up the hold around the probe?

I wouldn't recommend drilling a hole in your tubing. It probably wouldn't really matter, but imo that decreases the integrity of your tubing. When a T-line would cost very little money at all and be just as easy to modify/implement.
