Hey guys, i have finally got my Q6600 G0 up and running with my GA P35 DS3L. and 4GB of Patriot extreme performance edition DDR2 800MHz. I am running an older X1900 GTO as my vid card, but i do not game so the video performance does not matter too much to me.
I have finished fine tuning the system and have reached a stable 3.41GHz (379x9) with the Q6600 using the zerotherm nirvana 120. my load temps are anywhere from 65-66C and my idle temps are anywhere from 34-40C does this sound right to you guys? My Vcore is at 1.45 and with vdroop it goes to about 1.392 under load according to CPU-z.
What do you think of that OC, is the vcore or temperatures too high? should i back off a bit?
I was just wondering what you guys think of this rig for video encoding and such, is there anything i could do to drastically improve performance or am i about at my maximum performance level?
any input would be greatly appreciated!
