taking acrylic side off pc-65?

does anyone know how to do this? im talking about taking the acrylic piece off the panel. its not held on by screws but rather these weird things that could be like pins maybe...

reason is, the acrylic window was put on wrong and the etched side is on the outside and the smooth is on the inside. i just want to take it off and flip it.
 
They're rivets. You just drill through them with a bit slightly larger than the little pin running through the center of them. Keep in mind that in order to reassemble the panel once you're done doing whatever you're doing you'll need new rivets (they can't be reused) and a pop rivet "gun" or you'll have to replace the rivets with screws and nuts of similar size.

Just drill them out... they'll pretty much pop right out when you get the drill bit the right size.
 
ahh ok. guess the case will have to wait till after my ap exams...

well, does anyone know if home depot sells screws that are around that size?
 
Home Depot and Lowes both have an isle of screws, washers, nuts, bolts, cotter pins, rivets, cable ties, blah blah blah. Yeah, they sell what you're looking for but I've always though the rivets looked much better unless you're also getting screw caps.

You'll be looking for something like a 4 or 6 and probably about .25" to .5" length.
