Ahem, as the person above so politley mentioned, welcome to the forums. When you visit www.hardforum.com, there are several links to various sections dealing with various topics. When you have a question, or something you'd like to contribute, it's important to place it in the right area, so you have the best chance of a good answer. In your case, the AMD Processor Section would be your best bet.

I wouldnt switch if I already had lga775, stick with what you have untill intel or amd do something worth upgrading a motherboard for. (Atleast holdout untill new sockets roll around).

Wrong forum though, your post will be moved and im sure you will get more responses then.
