Tagan or Silverstone?

Hi everyone,

I'm building a new rig, and I was wondering if anyone could help me chose between a Tagan 1100W PSU and a Silverstone 750W. They're both pretty new, and the Silverstone has the brand advantage, but the Tagan packs more juice for the same price and size.

The PC Power & Coolin 1KW are out for me, cause they're too big and noisy.

So, which one of these two would you recommend?

i'd go with the silverstone 750W. silverstone definitely has the beand advantage u mentioned. besides, i cant imagine what youd need 1.1kW for.

Maybe a Zippy/etasis?

I doubt you would need so much power. Unless you're running quad-SLI on an iwill h8502 and 24 hard drives, and maxed out on ram and processors, you should be fine with the PCP&C 850, which isn't as loud as the 510 due to increased efficiency.

I need this much power cause i'm going to be maxing out my system (multiple graphics card, lots of hard drive in RAID, etc). Plus every year the PSU needs increase, soi'd like to future-proof it as much as possible. As I said, the PC Power & Cooling ones are not an option, cause they're too big for my case.

All in all, if the Silverstone and the Tagan are equal (noise, size, quality), I'll go with the Tagan even if it's a little more expensive, just for that added 400W. Now, if the tagan is worse, that's another story...
