So I recently sent my xfx 8800GT alpha dog edition card to XFX for RMA. They sent me back a 6750 1gb ddr3 card. So I popped it into my spare desktop and I discovered that if the 6750 is in the PCI-E slot the system won't POST. Fans start to spin for a few seconds and then everything turns off, then it starts again, then turns off, so on and so on. It never stays on long enough to beep or Post or anything. I put a spare 8600gt into it and it started immediately. So do I have a bad card? Do I get to deal with XFX again. It took them an entire month to get me a replacement for my 8800gt and I would really rather not deal with them again.
I can't be a driver problem because the system never stays on long enough for drivers to have anything to do with it, not to mention that I did a clean install of windows 7 this morning.
