System will not OC anymore??

Ive had my 6600 overclocked for over a year now and all of a sudden it will not take even the slightest nudge above stock, i am not sure if it is the 6600 or both sticks of RAM have give out(tried both by themselves and still nothing)

Anything else it could be? It drops out right before the post screen.

First off, clear CMOS and set to equivalent of 'optimised defaults'. Test stability at stock speeds and voltages. Then you need OC either the CPU or the memory (but not both at same time) and then visa-versa. It should give you an idea of which out of those 2 is failing first. Maybe neither??
 
cleared the cmos and the pc would not boot anymore, just a blank screen, no signal at all, no hard drive action or anything, just fans blaring. After messing around with it for hours i ordered a new board (GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3R)

Have read gigabyte is great with replacing the boards via there warranty so i will probably RMA it and get a new one and sell it.
