Okay, so I know the thing looks goofy, and costs a pretty penny, but is it worth it? Has anyone ever used one of these? I'd like to get something that is a little more effective than my Aero 7, and I'm looking at this heatsink as a possible quiet solution, when paired with a 92mm Vantec Stealth. Input? Opinions?

Thanks.

I think you'll see a good performance difference when compared to your Aero7. The 92mm Stealth is nice, the 92mm Panaflo L1A is a good alternative.

I don't think it looks goofy, but that's just me :)

i have 2 versions of the MCX. I got the MCX462 and the MCX462V
both are badass heatsinks and worth the money. but i also have vantec tornado's on mine...noise does not bother me. but as for a quiet solution ya i would get the MCX462V hands down
