Swiftech mcp600

Having recently bought one and taken it apart (for custom paint job), then I'd say yes, the face can probably be rotated without a problem. But I don't know about running the whole pump upside down -- as in bolted to the *top* of the case instead of bottom.

thnx PrkChpXprss, i'd read somewhere that it was possible on a
swifty pump but it wasn't clear whether it was the 300 or 600.

yes, any which way you can orient the pump is fine, as long as you do no hinder the intake valve

as in, do not orient the pump with the intake valve facing downward, unless maybe you have the resevior a foot or two above the actual pump, making sure you have proper water pressure going in the intake.

So ideally the best orientation would be with the intake valve facing up.

Just keep intake pressure in mind, when mounting the pump (esp. at top of case), you may adversely affect the pump's performance, unless you intend on having a res at the same level as or above the pump.

but anyway, yes, any orientation is fine
