I have a swiftech mcp300 pump from a few years back. This is a 120V pump that is rated for 50,000 hours of operation. What I'm wondering is if this pump would still be pretty good to use with some updated hardware, and how it compares to the newest 12V pumps.

Basically, I'm just looking for advice on whether to buy a new pump of give my old one a go.
