Alright, i have an Albatron KX18D PROII Along with a Thoroughbred 2400+ and every time i try and unlock it my computer litterally FRIES. Its weird because i had the same processor on my previous board (Epox 8K5A2) unlocked and it was fine. But then i upgraded to the Albatron and right when i turned on my computer, the processor started SMOKING and CRACKLING and so did my motherboard. So both of them were dead. So then i RMA'd both of them, got new stuff, didnt unlock my processor, and it worked fine. Then i got a little daring and tried to unlock my 2400 again and the SAME THING happened. I hope i didnt let them fry for too long. I might still be able to salvage them. But why is this happening? I used conductive grease to connect the 5th bridge on the L3 bridges just like everything says and its killing my computer. Please help!

Cmon boys, this is Mo Fuckin Hard Forums. The place where questions are answered. Now is there ANYONE that can help me? This isnt some fluke. Its happened 2 times already. :(

That can happen if you leave the Grill cover open, BBQ-Smokepit.com recommends that you leave the cover closed. Not only will your steaks and burgers cook faster, But it will reduce the amount of "Smoking" and "crackling" you have.

I would also recommend a weber gril if this is your first BBQ-ing

my guess would be that your grease job is too thorough, and it's crossing things that shouldn't be crossed
 
Ya, thats what im doing right now. Im calling Newegg right now and am going to exchange my mobo for an NF7-S. Heard those are pretty good for OC'ing. Ah well.
