Swapping harddrives between two PC's

I want to swap one hard drive between two PC's. I would like a solution that allows me to slide the harddrive out of the front of my PC without opening the case or disconnection of wires. Is this the kind of thing I need? http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=17-121-115&depa=1

This is a standard size harddrive, nothing unusal. ATA 133 7,200 rpm
Is this the best way to do this? Im looking for the easiest way to move this device back and forth safely. Thanks.

Looks like just the ticket. I doubt your storage controller supports hot swapping, so you will still have to turn the system off to remove or add the drive, but that will work.

Also, have you considered getting a USB (or better yet Firewire) enclosure for it? That's even easier, as USB and Firewire are hot pluggable, like this unit? http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=17-145-334&depa=1

The hard drive is not located in a pc but in another type of electronic device. I have to maintain the ide connection on electronic device and then be able to move it to my PC to retrieve information off of the harddrive and then return it to its host unit. I dont see a way I could do that with the usb enclosure. Hot swap would be really nice to do, but I dont see a way to do it with this set up. Thanks for the suggestion though.
