I've used keystone boxes like this many times to surface mount ports in many scenarios, including some ethernet ports on the bottom side of the shelf on my desk for super easy access. Well now I want to make hooking up a monitor to a computer I'm repairing just as easy. I'd like to put the display on an arm, on that very shelf. Then run cables to a keystone style, but obviously much bigger, surface mount box. That way the video ports are right there on my desk ready to go, instead of needing to dig around the back of the display. I'd need VGA and DVI. I don't need HDMI, they make regular standard keystones for those. This would be extremely useful, if such a thing exists!
