Super econo budget eyefinity

Does anyone have any experience with low end 22 ish monitors for a super cheap eyefinity set up?

or a cheap acer 22inch equivilent. I'm not looking for the best experience ever.. just something better then the 4 year old 20 inch monitor i have , running eyefinity pushed from a 5870 i've ordered.

Remember that if you're not shopping for monitors with a DisplayPort connector, you'll have to figure in $100 for an active DP->DVI adapter or take your chances on spending $30 (or $130 if you don't like the result!) on a DP->VGA adapter.

Somehow I feel better dropping 100 on the adapter knowing if I switch or upgrade to higher end monitors in the future that still dont use display port I'll be covered with my purchase.

So, if i have that adapter, will 3 cheapy monitors be ok for a econo rig?

The Dell Outlet has P2210H for $159 with free shipping, and it's got built-in DisplayPort.
You'd actually be cheaper getting 3 of those than 3 of the acers with the $100 adapter.
I see that the Dell's a 21.5", it looks like the acer is a full 22".
