i replaced the sunion fan in my shuttle with a $1 speeze... (cause i got 10 of them for $9.50 off newegg) and it is no quieter.. just a lower pitched sound... and is a lower rpm so it doesn't seem to move as much air.. also, my cpu temp went up 4 degrees..

just thought i would share...

i guess i will get a $10 dual ball bearing fan...

would putting an 80 mm on the outside of the case so there is one fan pushing and one pulling or would that make no difference? i can see it possibly going both ways...

there are many factors including rated CFM, rated RPM, as well as rated dB and other things.
