For 2x 7900GTX, I recommend a 600W Enermax Liberty, and you sound like the kind of person that would appreciate the modular cables.

Edit: My bad, its actually 620W.

yes, modular cabling would b a nice touch, but for me that wouldnt be an issue if it didnt come with that. i could always zip tie the cords and id b happy. but ive been to nvidia's website and they listed that silverstone ps as a ps that could support 2 7900gtx's. but im not much of an xpert on psu's considering this will b my first purchase of one.

The liberty's a good unit, the Seasonic S12 600watt would be a good choice as well. Silverstones tend to be less efficient than Seasonic's.

Taking another look at the power consumption of the 7900GTX, the Silverstone PSU you picked out would work perfectly. If you wanted to spend a little less money you could go with this Enhance unit.

i was also wondering if the cooling on the silverstone was an issue, it has one 80mm fan while i see others with 120mm or 2x 90mm. ill consider those other psu's as other options but for the price on the silverstone, it seems like a better deal. and these days i hear that even with 2 very high end graphics cards, the minimum power u need is like 500w.

The cooling is fine in the Silverstone, and the Enhance supply is $50 less then the Silverstone.
