I'm bored this weekend so I gutted an old computer I had laying around and decided to try my first mod on it. My budget is extremly low, so probably only painting and dremeling right now. The case's outer shell all comes off and once and seems very heavy for what it is (5-8 lbs). I'm wondering if a dremel will even be strong enough to cut through it. If this turns out good enough, I may well just move my computer into it.

im about to start a zero budget mod to for an old celeron ive got, im going to paint it a nice shade of brown and put a big cartoon monkey on the side and a blow hole on the top just for looks. Probably not everyone's style but it'll keep me amused.
 
That one sounds pretty funny.

I actually remembered I have a can of Candy Apple Red gloss paint from my xbox controller left over. I found that if you apply it to a coat of black primer instead of white, you get a nice reflective rich dirty brick red shade.
