Stupid question

best/safest way is to buy an antistatic mat and an antistatic wrist strap. place the computer on the mat and put on the wrist strap. both mat and strap should be grounded to the same place.

easiest way is to keep one hand on the case at all times, ensuring that you yourself are grounded in some manner, and never touching any of the electronics.
 
Or stand on a piece of plywood and work on it naked. No chance of shocking then. Just watch out for those non-rolled edge pieces! :eek:
