I was resetting the heatsink on my server and applying some arctic silver.
While doing so, I just broke the plastic clamp on my stock intel HSF. It is the piece that connects to the retention bracket and has 2 levers on top.
What is this piece called? (Not retention bracket, Not heat sink, but the part that holds the heatsink TO the retention bracket)
I ordered an XP-90 and panaflo low noise 92mm fan to replace it, but If its cheap I may as well get the plastic piece so i have a functional backup HSF.
(heh... and I am going to do a TEC+watercooled rig when i break my air cooling components?)
