One of my X2 3800+ cores' failed SP2004 after ~10hours. Is that enough to say that system is stable?

Nope. One core will always fail before the other. Sounds like you've got a bit more tweaking to do!

alright..ive never seen this happen before but today i was running stress prime and it always seems core 2 just "hangs" in that it is still running and didnt throw any errors but it stays on the same test while core 1 keeps going.

if i run stress prime only on core 2 it seems to advance but as soon as i start running it on core 1 core2 stays at whatever test its on and core 1 will eventually catch up to core2's test and pass it all the while core2 is churning away on that same test.

anyone know what's going on here?

What tweaking are talking about?

Well as I'm not sure what settings you've got everything at, it could mean anything from backing off the OC, bumping up the vcore or vmem, adding a divider, getting better cooling, loosening the timings on your RAM, etc.

make sure you are running two seperate instance of the P95, they both should have their own folder to ease the confusion, give that a shot and u should see them churning away properly

I'm just running two instances of SP2004 - load one SP2004 and later the other. Do I use it correctlly?

The newest version of the SP2004 will be able to do multicore with only one instance, check it out. But you got the right idea, if u are using the older version, make sure you have assigned each to its own cpu within the SP2004

Eh... can you reproduce this? One core will always fail before the other... As one will always be weaker than the other.

I'd lower your clockspeed by a few mhz (30-50), maybe up your Vcore, and test again.

No chances... One core don't run 2.55Ghz even at 1.616v.
