That's what my defrag box has looked like for months. That left hand gap is the problem.

The drive in question used to be my master drive. It now has two partitions: 1 117 gig and 1 30 gig. The 117 is the partition with this problem. I'm running a diag (HDD Regenerator 1.41) on it now to check for bad sectors, but the diag has been on for a while with no bad sectors found.
All of the files on the drive are music and movie files. None of the files were corrupted or played badly, which probably means none of the files were written in the odd space.
It says there is 24 gigs left on the partition, while i suspect that gap to be half of that 24 gigs... it's a little scary with 70 gigs of music on there. I don't know what to think.

If you have any insight on this issue, please offer some help.

Luckily, my friend cleared out some space for me to back up...

So i zeroed the f<!>ucker... That did it... hopefully it doesn't mess up...

:(

If anyone still has any idea what that was, and if it'll have any reoccuring/underlaying effects, please tell me.
