Strange issue with 290?

I have 290's in X-Fire and when I play BF4 or Arma3 I get really bad cycling for GPU1 and 2 acording to afterburner. I have yet to try any other games, but I wanted to check first to see if this is normal. My game play does not seem to be affected by it, which is a good thing.

I did a fresh install of windows, with all the latest drivers. Only thing that is not up to date is my mother board BIOS. I am trying to figure that out as I type this.

Something else I noticed with afterburner is, it only gives me temp, core clock and memory clock of GPU1, never GPU2. Is this also normal?

Here is a pic of the cycling for both GPU's, as well as a (dark) pic of my water setup. It is a bit messy right now, but I am waiting a 90 fitting to come in to get ride of some excess tubing.



 
I thought some others were talking about this a few weeks ago and simply pointed it as a big in afterburner. Obviously if game performance isn't effected, i wouldn't worry about it.
 
ignore usage, its erratic, and not correct.

use FPS and clock FREQ
