Hello,
I reorganized all my power cables today to tidy my box up, and also for better airflow, but now i have a strange problem.
When i boot i get "intel boot manager" or something giving me error code PXE-E61 and telling me to check my cables. The screen then fades then a few seconds later winXP boots normally.
I looked on the intel website about these codes, but all i could find pertained to booting from lan and such, which is disabled in my bios. I changed the boot priority so my HD is the first drive polled, now i dont get the error message...all my drives seem to function perfectly.
Do you think this could be something to do with my use of a rounded IDE cable for my cd-rom drives (the drives that were evidently causing this weirdness) as it now sits somewhat close to my bunch of power cords???
Thanks for reading all that,
Rob
