Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.
I just purchased a storage drive. I am going to set it as primary master on my IDE channel, my raptor is master on my SATA channel. Will windows just recognize my drive, and assign it a letter? or will it be more complicated?
you will probably need to do a few things
boot into the OS and Start > Run > (type) diskmgmt.msc > RClick on the new drive "unallocated space" > Partition & Format
if the drive doesnt show up, Action Button > Rescan Didk > then RClick the unallocated space
then it will be assigned a drive letter(s) visable in Windows Explorer nd My Computer
your boot times might also increase as the BIOS might look to that drive first for a boot sector, if so, in the BIOS boot order look for an option to point it to the SATA as the first boot device (might be SCSI) and disable boot to other devices, this is treared a little differently in various BIOS so some experimentation might be required
