Stereo Receiver Recommendations

I'm looking for a cheap/decent stereo receiver for my bedroom computer. I'd like to have a LFE output for my sub, but it's not needed since I can just use RCA outputs to the sub and turn it's LFE filter on.
Also, maybe an uber cheap soundcard for just stereo output to the receiver/amp. It'd be a plus if the receiver had a digital coaxial input because my motherboard has a coaxial output and onboard digital audio is fine, it's onboard analog that sucks, so then I wouldn't need a soundcard. But if the receiver I get doesn't have coaxial input then I'll just need something to output analog stereo, nothing crazy with spdif input/output, 7.1 surround eax thx, blah blah crap.

I'd love to get a Denon DRA-37 or the DRA-297 because the AVR-3801 in my home theater has always served me justice, but I definitely don't want to spend $300 on a bedroom receiver.

So I'm looking at either an Insignia NS-R2000 (since I have a $25 gift card for best buy I have yet to use), or an AudioSource AMP-100 (since I don't need all the frills and extra features).

Any recommendations?

My current setup (Speakers, Sub, etc.) is as follows...

I have a 180watt Acoustic Authority Pro 2.1 setup. Instead of using the two satellite's it comes with, I've connected two studio monitors (shown in pics below).
I opened up the 2.1 sub box (active amplifier is inside the sub like most 2.1 setups) and disconnected the actual subwoofer wires so that it doesn't use any of the power and then split the input to a KLH E-12DB 12" 125watt down-firing sub (pictured below).
So basically, I'm just using the 2.1 sub to solely power the two speakers.
It works, sounds decent, and can crank em pretty loud (although I had to fix a 120mm fan onto the heatsink that is exposed on the back of the 2.1 sub box otherwise it gets too hot to touch, now it stays nice and cool).

Current speakers/sub (click for much larger versions)

Onkyo TX-8522

- No LFE output
- No digital input

Real power and decent quality.
