I have a NEC 1760nx with a GFX 5600 Ultra and when I use my DVI connection for a while I start to get random static lies going through the screen. It works fine on VGA but whenever I use DVI it starts.

The LCD didn't come with a DVI so I had to order one but the first on I got was complete crap, the whole screen was static. I ordered another one that said it could Handel up to 1280x1024 but I'm still getting random one pixel high static lines.

Pic of it with the first DVI cable

I thought it was ether my video card or my DVI cable. Now the question is do I want to take a weak of no gaming while I get a new video card.

none of my friends have any video cards with DVI out. There might be one computer at work I could test it on, don't remember off the top of my head.

Id have to barrow a video card from there anyway if I have to send mine back.

Get one at a store and return it if thats not the problem, if it is then keep it.
