Hi,
I'm building my PC inside a plastic car model - a Nissan 350Z to be precise. I'm using micro-atx. Here's what it should look like when finished:

So static. I understand that as long as something is plugged into the power supply then it's grounded. But what about the PSU itself?
I have a perspecs (thin plastic) oblong that everything will go on - here's the plan:
The motherboard - I'm going to put four bolts through those holes you get in the MB and put rubber washers between the bottom of the MB and the perspecs - Cool? Do I need rubber washers on the topside too where the screw contact the motherboard?
The DVD I'm going to rest directly on top of the perspecs and fasten it with steel brackets.
The HDD and PSU will hover above the DVD on 4 'U' shaped pieces of steel I've made to hold them. These steel shelves will screw into the perspecs at one end and then have holes in at the other to let me screw directly to the PSU and HDD.
If it's difficult to picture imagine a plastic shape with everything attached to it by mechano.
Does all this sound cool electrically and statically?
I don't want to short everything and make a wreck. Also, if PCI and AGP cards occaisionally brush against the inside of the painted plastic car-shell will that cause a problem? Is it a necessity that they don't contact at all?
Thanks
