Ok, so I bought an NZXT Switch 810 case and cant say enough wonderful things about it, EXCEPT the fact that for some reason, the window gets INCREDIBLY statically charged... I mean to the point that if my arm gets within 6-8" of the window the hairs on my arm will stand up and point towards the case...

When you run your hand over the plexi windo, you can hear the cracking and popping of the static.. this is obviously very scary to have such a static magnet so close to the components.. not to mention all dust and fibers get attracted to the window.

I have had many cases with plexi windows and dont recall this ever being the case... has anyone else noticed this with either this case or any other?

Suggestions on what to do about it?

There is a product called "Tend Anti-Static Plastic Cleaner" , you may try this and it should reduce static build-up on plexiglas.
here's a link to a site about this product..

There is another similar product called, PLEXUS Anti-Static Plastic Cleaner Protectant & Polish
you can get this product from here..

you can also try using rain-x on the plexiglas, this may be a cheaper and easier to find product, but i don't know how safe using rain-x would be on plexiglas, i wouldn't want you to try the rain-x and have it melt or damage the plexiglas.. so try it on a spare piece of plexiglas to make sure it doesn't damage or discolor plexiglas before trying it on your case window.

Hope this helps!!

+1 for Plexus. Works great on my motorcycles and on small aircraft windshields (Plastic / needs anti static cleaner)
