Star Wars Episode I pod racer-a way to emulate IPX and play over LAN?

I know this is a pretty old game.. but does anyone know of a method to make it work over a local network (not internet), since IPX is no longer supported in Vista/Win 7..

There are no updates that enable tcp/ip for it, that i can see..

Any thoughts?
