SSD recomendation

I am building a new system and i am stuck on if i want speed or more reliability on my ssd. I will be running Raid0 with 2 drives for my system.
I started a poll on my choices:

If I provide valuable input would you throw me a couple hundred bucks?

Seriously though... this question comes up a lot here and since you've already widdled it down to three very good drives, it's going to come down to your preference: speed or reliability. If you're doing regular backups of your system to a platter HDD, then you can get away with the fastest drive and live on the edge a bit.

I don't know anything about RAID0 though. Can you do TRIM with that?

IMHO, if you are going to RAID 0 two very fast drives, the speed question is a non issue unless you are a benchmark junkie.

I vote for more reliability if you are running RAID 0.

If you buy 3 drives and RAID 5 them, then go with BLEEDING EDGE fast.

I am currently building a system with 3 first gen Intel X18M drives. I am going to RAID 5 them since this will be my daily driver system. Not cutting edge, but still will smoke and spinner setup out there.

I am looking for something in the range of 480 GB to 512 GB

I decided to got with Samsung 830 512 GB x 2, i started to think about how corsair treated me with my other 8 x 256GB ssd and i don't want to go through that again even if their new ssd are more reliable. My plan is to get OCZ pcie SSD when the new ATI 7990 card comes out since i will have space on my motherboard.
