SSD External Hard Drives?

[wes888]

Are there any SSD external hard drives available? How long before manufacturers develop SSD external drives? If there is already an SSD external drive available, what is the brand? Thanks.

Im not sure whats your intended use, but there are some USB3 external SSDs, like

Kingston Digital, Inc. HyperX Max 3.0 64 GB Flash Drive SHX100U3/64G
Kingston Digital, Inc. HyperX Max 3.0 128 GB Flash Drive SHX100U3/128G

umm why don't you just get one of these

and throw an ssd in there?

eSATA would still be considered external, and I think it'd work better than USB 3.0, especially for an SSD. I just wanted to mention that because it seems one could get a 2.5" eSATA enclosure as well.
