SSD Cache + RAID 0 possible

I want to use a 64GB OCZ Synapse cache drive to cache for my 2x1TB HDDs. Will the software care/know that it is going to cache for a RAID 0 setup?

Could not find via Google if it will work with a RAID 0 setup behind it.

Total storage setup will be FancyCache 4gig read/write > 64GB Synapse > 2TB RAID 0 setup, all backed up onto my NAS daily.

I don't care that "SSD Cache is a gimick" and "Your better off buying a 512GB SSD" etc, I am on a very limited budget with this build, so this is the best available option.

If it were me, I would just use the 64GB drive as my OS drive. You can use the RAID0 as your storage array, and put any larger apps on the R0, or use NTFS junction points or symbolic hard links to point off drive C. You will see much more bang for your buck by doing this than going the caching route in general use. In any case, as long as you are using a hardware RAID0 solution, it should work fine as the hardware just presents the array as a single disk to the OS.
 
Thanks for the reply, that is as I suspected.

I had a 60gb OCZ drive that I was using for a system drive, however, I find it very tedious to micro manage.
The junction point thing would be great except one point, I would still only be getting HDD speeds for items vs SSD (nearly) speeds for just about everything I use frequently, so I will keep my junctions limited to my RAM drive (browser, and other items that benefit from instant access to their data like game textures etc).

Now if the makers of the SSD software would allow you to white list files that will remain in the cache permanently and black list others, it would be perfect!
