It's the first time I've ever used more than one hd and the first time using an SSD(40gb).

Was wondering if I should make the SSD boot and os with the HDD as storage or do the srt I think it is called. What do?

currently I have it as srt enabled I think if I even did it right, I dont know how to go about testing the speed >>, but I did go to enable acceleration and have it as raid so I'm guessing it is correct.

sorry if this is in the wrong section

The OS on a 40G SSD depends on the OS. For Windows 7, 40G is an absolute minimum (you'll have to keep a sharp eye on the space available) and I would suggest your use of the SSD for caching is probably the best. Sounds like you set up caching right via the Acceleration button but I'm not sure if it uses RAID or ACHI just because I've not done it.
