Hi. How warm should it be outside for spray paint to correctly adhear to plastic?

Depends on the paint. It will tell you on the side of the can. Also, use plastic primer (sometimes called plastic prep) first so your paint dont come off.

my adcvice would be to use vinyl dye, sticks much easier, no primer needed

also, i agree with reading on the can, it's supposed to be room temperature, you just have to risk it if its much more or less than room temperature

edit: you can get it at canadian tire

Would they have vinyl dye in flourescent colours, and does it go on like spray paint? i.e. can finish this mod before the winter? :)

I've never seen any vinyl dye in any floursecent colors where I live. Granted I've only checked out the auto parts stores. I thinks if you want floursecent colors you will have to go paint not dye.

well i have checked two local canadian tires and all i have found is black and red

tehy don't even have a full range of basic colours so i'm doubting that they would have flourescents

It usually says 65F, but I imagine you can get away with less. There's a thread in here somewhere.
