i bought a new nf3 dfi lanparty and ocz powerstream 520.

in smartgaurdian i noticed that my cpu voltage jumps up from 1.72 to 1.79 when it's in full load. is this normal???
thanks in advance

edit: after reading around, it seems like software is probably not the best thing to use to read voltage levels. How would I use a multimeter to read my cpu voltages?? Seems like you can only read the 12V, 3.3V, and 5V rails.

my CPU voltage jumps 0.25V when 100% loaded. My mobo is MSI k8n neo2.

What else do you want to measure & why?

You just can't trust the software to be that accurate.

so which rail do you use to read the cpu voltage??????
That is funny!

Depending upon the mobo either the +5V rail or the +12V rail supplies the Vcore,
through the mobo which regulates to Vcore down in to the 1V to 2V range,
to read the Vcore you would have to check the output of the MOSFETS,
which are very hot (so be carefu), also if you screw-up you can easily kill the mobo/CPU.
