Speculations

Dear [H] mods,

I believe the [H]ard community is in need for a "Hardware/Software Speculation" sub-forum. In there could be speculations for upcoming hardware and software such as the new G80, r600, Vista, DX10, etc. All the other forums are getting way too cluttered and off topic. Newbies are also just making question threads one after another with things like "will the g80 be better than 7900gt's in SLI?". Its really getting old. If we had a whole sub-forum dedicated to speculations, it would greatly help people looking for answers they want to hear, or give information they want to speculate about.

I feel this would clean up the video card forums quite a bit and you'd get less posts like "use the search n00b!".

With those out of the way the video card forums could be used for genuine video card inquiries.

I'd like to see it happen, but I don't think it would work. Instead, the speculation threads would be started in the wrong forum,and when they get moved they would still leave a ghost thread behind. Instead of 50 "Will G80 rock?" threads, we'd have 50 "Moved: Will G80 Rock?" threads. It wouldn't solve user stupidity, which is what needs to be fixed.

You don't even know...we cleaned house and created subforums for console gaming/PC gaming and hardware/flash games, etc, and you'd be surprised at how much it doesn't even matter that we did that...

Kyle if you decide to create the speculation subforum feel free to make me one of the mods. I mod over at some of the other computer related forums, I have references if you need those.

I will address that need as soon as we see no speculation in the current forums. I personally think the need is already being well addressed by our members.
