Speakers create static when logging into AIM.

Has anyone experienced this before? Even if I click setup, or whatever on AIM, it will cause a non-stop static "pshhhhhhhhhh". It is VERY weird. The only way to stop it is to restart the computer. But once I do anything related with AIM, whether it is signing on or click setup, the annoying static comes back. I reformatted my computer to fix this problem. It stopped, BUT my computer was infected with viruses and what not, so I had to reformat once again, I just finished reformatting and reinstalling everything, and the static is back!!!!!!! :mad: :confused: Can anyone help? Computer specs are in my sig, thanks
 
i just figuered out what the problem is, well sort of. when the static is on, i can turn it off by running winfast pvr, my tv tuner viewing program. i guess when it's on a blank channel, it detects the static and somehow mutes it. i need a better solution though, i dont want to run winfast pvr everytime i turn my computer on
