I have a sparc station 2 that i found at while dumpster diving. i am gutting it and making it into my web server/ fire wall. I just need to get parts for inside, I have a 20Gb that will be in there, but i need a mobo for cheap, but allow usb cd drive or serial, and one that will fit the mobo, cpu and possably the fan into a 2 inch in height, I am going to cut a fan whole in the top for the air flow. , I might put a slim line or a regular cd drive in if there is room enough. i am doing this just for fun... i might try to mod the pci to so that it is horizontal, i have seen it done and love the idea. the system doesnt need to be blazing fast, just going to be running freebsd or linux, and serve my webpage as well as have a firewall on it.
 
Sorry to go OT but that SS20 mod is SWEET!!!!
I've got an SS5, that's been collecting dust in the closet since I moved.
I might get it back out now, just to do something cool like that...
Maybe add in som ccfl.

one of these days...

Love the mod though.
