Soundmax4 (AD1985) EQ problem fixed.

If you have an Asus p4c800 deluxe or one of the other many motherboards with "soundmax 4" and you use the onboard sound you probably have the problem of awful sound. due to a horrible "bass boost" which is enabled by default. you may have tried to find an EQ app for it, but there isnt one.

now the sound is better then a sb live i was using before.
the reason i discovered this was i got an EMU0404 to replace my soundbastard live!1 and found out it doesnt have EAX and didnt work at all in bf1942. so i used the soundmax output for games and the EMU for everything else.

anyways when i loaded up BF it sounded crap, the enemy jeeps did not make the satisfying explosion sound they used to when they blew up. so i used
rightmark audio analyzer (a very useful program to test your frequency response etc) and found the very nasty frequency response which they have DONE ON PURPOSE!

I believe that not only soundmax4 but also earlier versions which use other analog devices chips may also be fixable.
