sound problem on new computer

msi k8n neo4 plat sli. using onboard sound. have the 24pin or whatever plug with my powersupply and its pluged in. my speakers are logitech z-5500.
old computer sound card is gamesurround muse 5.1.
anyway, i just pluged in my speakers to this new computer. there is no virtual 5.1 like there is for my gamesurround muse. so like winamp and dscaler only come out of 2 speakers. can i get any help here? anyone have this motherboard and use onboard sound?
edit: fixed. reading the mobo manual usualy helps. enabled cmss 3D
