Sound card?

Hey,

I was looking around and I was surprised not to see much sound card info on the forums. I want something for under $150 with MIDI and what ever other ports/features might be useful for recording.

Any suggestions?

Is anything new supposed to come out that I should consider? I have time.

there is loads of products like that, you have to be more specific about waht you need. These questions might help:

- how many instruments do you want to record simulatnously
- how many line signals and how many microphones
- do you need phantom power, balanced connections
