Hey guys!
I just bought a Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic OEM sound card off of frys, I got it today in the mail. Got so excited that I installed it and forgot to turn off the onboard sound and uninstall its drivers. Now the XtremeMusic isn't working anymore. I tried everything, from uninstalling all the drivers and using Driver Cleaner to try different driver versions, older to beta.
Nothing seems to be working at all. Something does seem odd though. Looking at the bios boot up, the XtremeMusic card isn't being assigned to a IRQ# anymore.
Do you think this card is broken? Or should I reinstall my OS?
Seems like maybe the card broke because its not getting a IRQ#?
