Hi

Is this a good monitor? I can get one for 100 buks but I dont know if I should.
max res is 2048 x 1536 at 75 kHz. sounds good but I want some opinions. thanks

That's a great monitor and a very good deal as long as it's in good shape. As long as it's working properly I'd definately go for it.

I had a Sony G400 crt and could not stand the way the trinitron tube displayed text (very unlike the shadow mask one I had before), and the horizontal damping wires were kind of annoying too. For games/graphics it was superb though.

My gosh that is a great deal if it is in good condition. I have one that it still running as well as it did the first day I got it over three years ago. The quality is exceptional, you will not be disappointed.

BTW I paid over $700 for mine.

like all of them have said, the sony G series monitor are really good in quality.
I am currently using the G420 which i bought 3 years ago and it still looks great as it did. As for the damping wires, unless i really look for them or i am using applications like Word or Excel i can't really notice them, and it had never been a problem to me.
