Hi, I think i might have a problem with my 9800 pro. someone tell me if im right.

These screens are from FarCry. With all AA/AF turned off it runs ok and looks good.. but i went to my display properties and turned it on 4AA/8AF then in the game i put it on high AA and now all the shading looks jacked up.. here is an example.. Look at the dudes hand and the rocks in the distance.. in the other one look at the "sparklies" in the gun and on the door..

All this is done at stock speeds and no overclocking.

Do you get these hideious black squares under rocks, or under dead bodies? That happend to me and i dont know what the hell is going on.

not tmention my Far Cry looks like shit even with everything at high detail on my 6800GT..

maybe the 1.2 patch that was recalled was supposed to help this? I dont know.

If thats with a full retail version of the game, download the 1.1 patch it fixed a lot of things, if thats the demo, dont bother with it, just go get the full version.

BTW the Higest setting for AA in game gets you to 8xAA which is more than what is usually needed, high gets you to 4xAA.

Be sure to set to application control in vid card properties and grab latest version of the vid card drivers.
